Teresa Elder is one of the worship leaders at the Clarksville Vineyard Christian Fellowship where she has attended since its' beginning in the mid-1990's. Daniel Doss
"Hold On"
(written by Daniel Doss)
Daniel Doss has been able to influence many people with his songs by traveling this past year with the Daniel Doss Band. The band's fIrst single "God In Me" has gotten radio play thanks to Sparrow Records, his record label. The band has traveled and led worship in many states across the nation. They had the honor of going on tour with Avalon and Michael English in the spring. Each night the final song had all the artists come on stage and Daniel got to share the stage with those artists that he had looked up to for many years. The summer was packed full of leading worship for camps where Daniel not only to lead worship, but to invest in the lives of the students.
Daniel is also influencing people for Christ at the local level through his ministry at Grace Community Church where he is the Worship Pastor. This fall he has been able to take a break from a hectic summer travel schedule and fully invest in the local church. He is passionate about leading worship and building relationships with the band and tech crew. He and his wife Emily are very active at Grace Community even outside of the realm of music; they are leading a new class called Starting Point. It is for those interested in learning more about the basics of the Christian faith.

Salem Ridge Quartet
"Makes Me Want to Fly"
(written by Judy Morrison)
The Salem Ridge Quartet began over 20 years ago as an extended ministry of Salem United Methodist Church in Clarksville. After singing a few years around the Clarksville area, the group's members took time off to focus their efforts on raising their families and ministering through foreign missions. In 1994, two of the quartet's original members, Glenn Tankersley (bass) and Barry York (lead), reformed the group as a renewal of their commitment to serving God. Today's group consists of Doc Richardson, Mike Barbee, Travis Gotcher and York.
Together, the group brings much versatility to their audiences with their smooth harmony, balance and rich tone. The group shares a love of the Lord and Southern gospel music. Doc and Barry are wonderful songwriters and have provided the Quartet with several original songs that God laid upon their hearts. Salem Ridge Quartet goes wherever God leads them to share His word. While a large portion of their ministry is in Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky, they have traveled as far as Arkansas, North Carolina, Texas and Oklahoma to sing for the Lord.
The group has several musical projects: I Wait for Thee, Burnin'Line, Past and Present, Most Wanted (a live CD), Live at Historic Collinsville, and Travel on Down the Road, all available on cassettes or CD's. Their material will be available in the lobby this evening. Currently, they are going over material for their new project to be released hopefully by Spring 2009. Again, it will contain some original tunes from the group and, as usual, some of the old Southern gospel favorites.
To schedule the Salem Ridge Quartet for a service in your church or with your organization, contact Barry and Sheron York at (931) 647-4247. You can also check out their website, www.salemridgequartet.com to find information about upcoming appearances.
